Oracle Business Development Snr Manager - Sales in Tucson, Arizona

Manages a team that is responsible for identifying relevant new business opportunities and designing "go-to-market" plans to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Consistently meets with potential customers and current customers to build pipeline.

Manages a team of business development representatives for a territory/region. May manage through other managers. The team is actively and frequently customer facing, providing the value proposition to business or org leaders, qualifying opportunities, and selling the value of the oracle solution. Provides daily operations management of lead qualification functions. Participates, as a team member, in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Manages budget. Provides support to marketing and sales programs.

Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs.

Provides direction for sales teams that are activelyproviding the value proposition to business or organization leaders, qualifyingopportunities and selling the value of the combined PaaS and SaaS oraclesolution. Develops strategic and tactical plans for the PaaS for SaaSteam to create demand, qualify leads and convert opportunities to revenue.

Works cross functionally between tech organizations (NATD,CBG, OD, Platform PM, ECA s, SE s, CSM s, etc) and Apps organizations (NAA,AT s, Apps PM, Apps Marketing, Apps BD, CSM s, etc) to insure alignment foreffective and efficient execution. Align with Finance and Operations tobuild operational measurement of the plan execution and success. Attimes, need to manage through complex and dynamic product and solutionenvironment with the ability to course correct the plan as needed.

Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent,advanced degree highly desirable.

Knowledge of Oracle s Sales methodologies, processes andcompetitive and industry knowledge. Able to travel.

  • Build differentiation for SaaS using PaaS and Analytics

  • Sales Motions/Sales Plays for Field Sales and Oracle Digital Sales

  • Field Enablement: Partner with Virtual team to deliver Multi-platform Sales Enablement for NATD and NAA sales, Oracle Digital Sales and Solution Development Reps. (include KADS)
