Community Health Systems Denials/Appeals Supervisor - Patient Financial Accounting in Tucson, Arizona
The supervisor is responsible for the coordination of technical denial appeals, ensuring timely and appropriate appeal responses and accurate data entry into C360. The supervisor is responsible for managing assigned denials and appeals team as relates to day-to-day assignments, implementation of established processes, and problem-solving to ensure daily goals in service and production are met. Theywill identify denial trends and compliance risk and work closely with the Manager of Denials/Appeals to coordinate activities that ensure regulatory compliance and foster a reduction in denial risks.
Bachelor s degree or equivilent work experience. Strong patient financial services background; prior responsibility for Case Management and/or oversight of Utilization review at either a hospital or corporate level for at least 2 years preferred. InterQual or Indicia® Certified Instructor preferred. Working knowledge of governmental and managed care payers.
