Raytheon PDC Operations Manager in Tucson, Arizona

The PDC Operations Manager reports directly to the Senior Manager, Proposal Excellence, and is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operations of the primary (20,000 sq. foot) integrated proposal facility, as well as the development and efficient operation of all other existing and planned integrated remote proposal development facilities (Rita Rd, Albuquerque, McKinney, Huntsville). The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for the performance, productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness of all proposal development facilities through effective leadership and management of a dedicated, multifunction staff and the management of up to $5B of annual potential revenue flow through effective proposal development. As the Operations Manager, the incumbent will collaborate with other RMS organizations to optimize daily operations and have a leading role in planning and executing expansion into both a new, larger and high technology integrated primary facility as well as three to four additional new smaller remote PDC locations. In this dynamic and fast-paced role the incumbent will partner and collaborate with the PDC staff and customers (including various remote locations) to help execute business priorities in a proactive and cost effective manner. The ability to build relationships, exercise good judgment, and work across the Raytheon matrix is critical to success. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of how the role can optimize PDC business operations, customer performance/success and continuously improve Proposal Excellence. The successful candidate must understand and be able to implement the IPDS proposal process, promote the use of recognized best practices, and assist in the application of enterprise wide collaborative proposal development expertise and the use of tools to optimize Proposal Excellence. The Operations Manager shall collaborate with Facilities, Information Technology, and Security to develop and manage the implementation of proposal center infrastructure upgrades and technology insertion plans to ensure all RMS proposal centers are linked to maximize enterprise wide collaboration and make optimal use of available information technologies to improve Proposal Excellence. This includes coordination with GBS, Advanced Media.
