This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. The Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Organization is looking for an Engineering Logistics Specialist I or II to contribute to a fast paced innovative team and work closely with the Whole Life Systems Engineering (WLSE) Functional Management, Engineering and Program Leadership. The candidate will support Raytheon’s next generation precision strike development programs, to meet continued upgrades to the precision strike programs within the Department of Defense (DOD). The candidate will provide operational, integration, test planning, and support for these programs and support systems engineering providing LCE support to ensure that logistical, interface, and operational functions of the product’s design are consistent with DOD requirements and expectations and ensure a minimal impact to the existing DOD infrastructure. The candidate will influence precision strike solutions, facilitate forward thinking initiatives to include streamlining and integration processes as well as incorporate best-in-class and reliable solutions for DOD customers. This position requires the ability to multi task in a high energy competitive environment. Selected candidate will interface daily with various levels of management and engineering personnel across multiple organizations, multiple engineering disciplines, and external customers to mitigate challenges while working under general direction. Candidate must be a team player, willing to work in a cross-team environment with RMS Off-Site Facilities. Must adapt with organizational structure, process, and priorities to meet technical requirements and program schedules. Candidate must be a self-starter to initiate contact with engineering and program leadership personnel to uncover issues that need to be resolved in order to maintain specification compliance. Candidate requires little supervision and capability of working in a fast paced dynamic environment. Required Skills: Knowledge of legacy cruise missile programs, to include maintenance and test procedures Knowledge of legacy cruise missile plans, schedules, inspections and other maintenance actions, including related components and specialized test and handling equipment Knowledge of and experience with legacy cruise missile automated test sets Knowledge of and experience with uploading, downloading, and cross-loading procedures with existing pylons, racks, and launchers used for legacy cruise missiles Knowledge of and experience with developing requirements, training material, technical orders, and organizational structure for legacy cruise missile programs Knowledge of the customer budgeting process Responds quickly to changes and responds with a positive attitude Analytical problem solving skills Knowledge of sustainment principles, concepts, practices and standards Experience working in fast pace deadline driven roles Other Requirements: Travel is required for this position Desired Skills: Proficiency with MS Office products Experience on JASSM/ACM/ACLM/ B52/B2 Required Education: Minimum 6 years’ experience with cruise missiles and a Bachelors’ Degree Clearance: Existing Secret Clearance 111883
