Material Program Manager Raytheon SM-6 needs a highly organized, self-motivating individual to fill a production Material Program Manager position. This role has a strong emphasis on managing program financials, combined with managing daily tasks and the relationship with IDS. With our company focus on cash, profit, bookings, and sales, managing the program financials to high expectations in this position is top priority. Responsibilities include monthly forecasting/reporting, inputs to RONA, and measuring the ETC/VAC to AOP. Other duties include: R&Os, weekly metrics, Material Program Plan and monthly management reviews. MPM will work extensively with internal customers including PMO, Quality, Engineering, Operations and Finance. Successful candidate will have Finance and Supply Chain experience and exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across the organization. This position can be a Sr MPM Specialist - G08 or a Principal MPM -G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for this position. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Managing and reporting the program financials including, monthly sales, cash flow, AOP, POC and liaison for IADC; developing material strategies, preparing and executing Material Program Plan (MPP); working with production control, operations, procurement, and supplier engineering to ensure purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier deliveries meet program demand; identifying and mitigating program risks; support weekly supplier meetings to include reporting; resolving Supply Chain issues for the program. This individual must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management and the external customer. This role will also be asked to contribute to enterprise initiatives, both in the program and within Supply Chain. Required Education, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Management, or similar and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, material procurement, MRP, production control, operations and/or finance. U.S Citizenship Ability to obtain a final DoD Secret security clearance MPM certification is desired, and if not currently certified, would be expected to obtain certification after experience in the role A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is required Desired Education, Skills & Experience: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Management, or similar Active Secret Clearance Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment are required to perform in this position Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform Good presentation skills will be required in order to keep internal customers, suppliers and the external customer informed Security Clearance Requirements This position requires the successful issuance, transfer or maintenance of a Secret security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
