Raytheon Trade Compliance Principal Investigator in Tucson, Arizona

The primary role of the Trade Compliance Principal Investigator is to be responsible for the oversight and management of the investigations process for assigned matters, which includes conducting investigations of potential international trade compliance violations, record findings in Raytheon’s IR/VD system, and writing voluntary disclosures to governmental agencies. Generally works under limited supervision. Required Skills: 3-5 years of compliance and/or investigations experience. Attention to detail and follow through on assignments to achieve desired results. Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills. Experience with assessing compliance risks in programs and developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to respond efficiently and effectively to time-critical requirements. Ability to work well on a team and contribute to the enhancement of Raytheon’s IR/VD procedures, drafting formal analysis and providing training (if required). Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of tasks and projects effectively and under strict deadlines. Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Performs other duties as assigned: Desired Skills: 3 - 5 years’ experience in trade compliance or similar regulatory field. Strong working knowledge of General Trade Compliance Regulation knowledge, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); Export Administration Regulations (EAR); and Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR). Results driven with the ability to be proactive as well as reactive to handle unexpected setbacks, obstacles and time constraints. Direct experience in Department of State and Department of Commerce export licensing preparation, submission and execution. High level computer skills to include Microsoft software suite. Required Education (including Major): Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree, particularly a JD preferred.
